Rivers Summer Music Camp
Summer is the time of year when children can let loose, play outside, and discover their passions. And for some, there's no better way to spend those sunny days than attending a music camp. At Lincoln Park Community United Methodist Church, we're excited to offer our Summer Music Camp 2014 for children of all ages!
Our Music Program
Our music program is designed to help children learn new skills, make friends, and experience the joy of playing music. With a team of experienced instructors, we offer a wide range of classes for children of all ages and skill levels.
Whether your child is a beginner or an experienced musician, our program has something to offer. We believe that every child has the potential to be a great musician, and we strive to create an environment that encourages creativity, growth, and self-expression.
Our Camp Schedule
Our Summer Music Camp 2014 will run from June 1st to August 31st, with weekly sessions from Monday to Friday. Each session will be four hours long, with a break in the middle for snacks and rest.
During the first week of camp, children will have the opportunity to try out different instruments and choose the ones they want to focus on for the rest of the summer. We offer classes in piano, guitar, drums, violin, and more.
Each week will have a different theme, with corresponding classes and activities. Some of our themes include:
- Rock and Roll
- Jazz and Blues
- Classical Music
- World Music
Our Instructors
We're proud to have a team of talented and dedicated instructors who are passionate about music and teaching children. Our instructors have experience working with children of all ages and skill levels, and they are committed to creating a positive and supportive learning environment.

Two Rivers Day Camp
If music isn't your child's thing, there are still plenty of fun summer activities to choose from, including our very own Two Rivers Day Camp!
Our day camp is designed for children of all ages and interests, with a wide range of activities and games to choose from. Whether your child loves sports, arts and crafts, or outdoor adventures, there's something for everyone at Two Rivers Day Camp.
Our Daily Schedule
Our day camp runs from Monday to Friday, with full-day and half-day options available. Here's a sample schedule for a typical day at Two Rivers Day Camp:
- 9:00am-10:00am - Arrival and check-in
- 10:00am-11:00am - Arts and crafts
- 11:00am-12:00pm - Sports and games
- 12:00pm-1:00pm - Lunch and rest time
- 1:00pm-2:00pm - Outdoor adventure
- 2:00pm-3:00pm - Cool down activities
- 3:00pm-4:00pm - Pick up and check-out
We also offer optional after-hours care for parents who need a little extra time in the evening. During this time, children can participate in quiet activities such as reading, coloring, or watching a movie.
Our Staff
Our staff is made up of experienced and friendly counselors who are committed to creating a fun and safe environment for your child. We run a background check on all of our staff members and provide them with extensive training on safety, emergency procedures, and child development.
